Forecast Results for Potential Dates for Severe Weather 2019

A forecast for New England was posted on June 8, 2019 covering the forecast period of June 15-17. The forecast called for heavy rain over the New England area based on the alignment of the planets Jupiter and Neptune.

The above weather map from the National Weather Service for June 16, 2019 shows a low pressure system over New York state with rain extending from the Northeast into New England. The heaviest rain hit the New Jersey/Delaware area where there were Flash Flood Warnings posted at that time. That's as close as heavy rain came to the forecast area. The next forecast is for September 14-17, 2019 and calls for the likelihood of a tropical system affecting the New England area.
