Flood-ravaged Ohio Valley

Mercury's square to retrograde Pluto delivers heavy rain to the eastern United States. The Weather Alternative long-range forecast issued on March 15th explained how this square would affect the area from Michigan southward through Florida between April 2-5. The forecast called for a low-pressure system to center over or pass through the Ohio Valley.

The Weather Channel map at left shows the low pressure area over the Ohio Valley. The forecast also mentioned the possibility of damaging winds, a characteristic trait of Mercury. Accuweather is reporting today that the thunderstorms are capable of producing damaging winds, hail, and drenching downpours.
