California Drought Forecast November 2015

Recent long-range California drought forecasts posted at the end of August 2015 have been successful in timing the arrival of needed rain. You can read the results here, here, and here. The latest drought monitor map, however, shows that the state is still in the grips of a serious water shortage.

Some major planetary aspects that are associated with abnormally damp weather and above normal precipitation are taking place over California. The first one on September 17th of this year (Jupiter opposition Neptune) will be triggered again during the last week of November. In addition to this, on the 17th of November, the Sun-Mercury conjunction will combine with the upcoming Saturn-Neptune square over California as shown in the map below. Saturn-Neptune combinations are known for increased precipitation.

Nov 17

The effects of this alignment may begin to be felt around the 17th, but a stronger period should be that of November 25th through the 30th when the potential is high for strong storms or a series of fronts to trigger precipitation over California and surrounding areas. Let's hope they get the rain they need.

As you may know there is a controversy over Nestle extracting water from the state of California during a drought. You can read what activists are saying here, and what Nestle says here.

October 9-11, 2015 Hurricane Forecast Results

The next forecast that appeared in my Dell Horoscope article entitled Celestial Storm Warnings! - Predicting the 2015 Hurricane Season in the June 2015 edition centered on the Florida area and East Coast.

This forecast was based on Mercury's retrograde station of October 9th which placed important planetary influences over the Southeast U.S. especially Florida as can be seen in the astro-locality map below.

Florida

The forecast called for either a tropical system to affect Florida and travel up the coast or severe thunderstorms over the peninsula.

Results

According to the Weather Prediction Center's Short Range Forecast Discussion of October 9th, heavy rain was forecast to hit eastern Georgia and the Carolinas. Flash flooding affected some areas. The low pressure area responsible for the rain was then to stall offshore.

California Drought and El Niño Results Part 3

We've been looking at the results of the California Drought and El Niño forecast that was published on August 29th of this year. You can read the previous results here and here. The last date mentioned in the forecast was that of October 16th. At this time Venus will make an opposition to Neptune which by itself is believed to increase moisture resulting in precipitation and flooding. What I thought was important was that this opposition falls directly on the Jupiter-Neptune opposition of September 17th. The astro-locality map below shows that the opposition affected the West Coast.

Accuweather has just begun to announce, "Downpours Threaten Flash Flooding in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Phoenix Areas" thus fulfilling the long-range forecast. According to the weather agency, a storm located in the Pacific Ocean has begun to press inland and will deliver higher humidity and locally drenching rainfall. The following Accuweather map shows the areas likely to experience the most precipitation.

15 Downpours Los Angeles

Legal Scholars Urge Officeholders: Refuse to Accept Same-Sex Marriage Opinion as Binding Precedent

A group of more than 60 legal scholars released a statement last week calling on all federal and state officeholders not to accept the Supreme Court's Obergefell v. Hodges decision--declaring a national right to same-same sex marriage--as binding precedent.

California Drought and El Niño Results Part 2

This is the second installment of forecast results for the observations I made about the California drought. You can read the original post here. The first results were posted here. In that first installment, we saw that rain did affect California and the surrounding area shortly after the September 17th Jupiter-Neptune opposition, which is what the forecast had called for.

The next date mentioned in the forecast was that of October 6th. I deemed this important because Mars opposed Neptune right on the Jupiter-Neptune opposition of September 17th. Let's see what happened. First, the California and West Coast area is singled out because the Jupiter-Neptune opposition was on the meridian through that area as seen in the astro-locality map below.

Ju Ne

The National Weather Service reported that on the 6th, an upper-level low pressure area over Southern California would move into parts of the Southwest. The low would pull moisture from the Gulf of California into the Southwestern quarter of the country producing showers and thunderstorms from Southern and Central California eastward. I would think that any rain would be welcome at this time. The upper-level low would then bring locally heavy rain and flash flooding to the Four Corners region.

Materialism

Materialism reduces thinking to neurons firing in the brain. For the materialist, humans don’t believe something because we are rationally persuaded of its truth, but because of neuronal patterns in our gray matter.
But what does that imply for materialists’ own views? To be consistent, they must apply the same reasoning to themselves: Their own materialism is not a product of rational thought, but of neurons firing in their brains. In that case, why should the rest of us give it any credence? As apologist Greg Koukl puts it, this is how a worldview “commits suicide.” When its own definition of truth is applied to itself, it discredits itself. - Nancy Pearcey

Hurricane Joaquin and East Coast Flooding

Why is Hurricane Joaquin headed for the U.S. East Coast, and why do flooding conditions plague the Carolinas and Virginia. These questions can be answered by looking at the study of astro-meteorology and how planetary cycles affect the weather.

For thousands of years, astro-meteorologists have recognized that solar and lunar eclipses are the precursors of earthquakes, droughts, famines, inundations, epidemics and other major causes. Here on the pages of The Weather Alternative we've looked at these from time to time showing their effectiveness.

In a recent post entitled Atlantic Storm Fulfills Long-range Weather Forecast, I posted the results of a long-range weather forecast I had published in the June edition of Dell Horoscope. This forecast was based on the solar eclipse of May 2012 and the fact that the Mars-Saturn alignment of Sept. 25th would activate the eclipse. In the forecast, I mentioned that disruptive atmospheric conditions would hit the Carolinas between September 24-27. An Atlantic storm formed at this time and clobbered the Carolinas with rain and gusty winds.

Little did I realize that the solar eclipse of May 2012 would remain activated past that point as Saturn would linger in opposition to the eclipse degree through the end of September. When looking at an astro-locality map for the May 2012 solar eclipse, here's what we see.

Eclipse
The areas circled in red are areas where two planets cross each other. The planets crossing over the South Carolina coast are Jupiter and Neptune. It just so happens that since Saturn is still activating the eclipse degree, Mars and Venus are both transiting over the positions Jupiter and Neptune held at the time of the eclipse, thus focusing weather patterns there. Neptune, for example, is known for its flooding influence on weather. Today's National Weather Service map shows North and South Carolina as well as Virginia highlighted in green. This indicates that they've posted various Flood and Flash Flood Watches and Warnings.

01 U.S.

As mentioned in my other post, this particular eclipse had shown the time and place of tropical systems such as Alberto, Beryl, Debbie, and Sandy. In addition to the flooding conditions just mentioned, major Hurricane Joaquin is forecast to impact over 65 million from South Carolina to Massachusetts. Referring to our astro-locality map, we see a red circle over New England. Mars and Jupiter crossed there. We've already mentioned that the degree of Jupiter is being activated now, but so is the degree of Mars since transit Jupiter is conjoining it. Had I realized Saturn's lingering influence on the May 2012 eclipse, I might have included warnings of a tropical system and severe weather in the Dell Horoscope article. Live and learn!

SigmundFreud

Freud voids Freud

Sigmund Freud said you hold beliefs not because you are rationally persuaded they’re true, but because of your unconscious emotional needs, especially sexual repression. But what about his own theory? Did it originate out of his sexual repressions? The theory undercuts itself. Onto the couch yourself, Dr. Freud. - Nancy Pearcey
