Hurricane Beatriz Fulfills Long-range Weather Prediction!

In my May 14th post of this year entitled Hurricane Season 2011 Baja, Mexico, I issued a long-range weather forecast for June 21-23, 2011. The forecast indicated that a tropical storm or hurricane was likely over the tip of southern Baja between these dates. The map below shows that Hurricane Beatriz will pass by the southern Baja between the 22nd and 23rd effectively fulfilling the forecast.
